Weel of 3.11.19

On March 11th  and 12th we filed over 5,600 petition signatures from over 50 counties. I am humbled by the support from so many supporters across the state. This was truly a grass-roots effort. Thank you so much to those who circulated and signed my petition. .

On March 11th I traveled from Harrisburg to Blair County where I met with Blair County DA, Rich Consiglio. Rich and his staff are doing a great job in Blair County. Later that evening I attended a candidates forum hosted by the Blair County Republican Woman. What a well-attended event. I was able to speak on my motivation for running for court and about my 27 years of experience.

On Tuesday night, March 12th I attended the Carbon County Lincoln Day Dinner. This is right in my backyard and I was well-recieved. I had the opportunity to speak with former Congressman Lou Barletta and it was great to see him again.. Lou spoke to the audience and stated how when he gives speeches he always speaks from the heart. So many politicians are told what to say and how to say it. There is no substitue for being genuine and staying true to who you are. This is one thing that makes Lou Barletta such a well-respected person. Please pray for Lou’s two-year-old grandson as he undergoes cancer treatments.

It was good to see Representative Kurt Masser and it means a lot to have his support. He is so well respected in the community. I lived in Danville for 20 years and was the first female District Attorney ever elected to Montour County.
